Unmasking in Kentucky
November 1, 2024, we made Kentucky history at a red carpet recorded and broadcast event at Lex Studios in front of a live audience where a slate of brave storytellers shared their vulnerable stories and entertainment related to gender identity, body autonomy, neurodivergence and more with regards to choosing a more authentic life and identity. We believe empathy is the way forward to unify us so our state can truly be the strongest it can be, and the night was magical. The entire studio was full of so much love, acceptance and positivity.

With over 20 years of experience producing exciting live shows and recorded media, we’re combining the recorded storyteller performances from the event with engaging interviews for a documentary. Recent Kentucky law changes have given us a bad rep, but we want the world to know there are people here who care a shit about bodily autonomy, gender identity, race equality, neurodivergence and unmasking related to anyone choosing to live a more authentic life. The documentary Kentucky Unmasked weaves the November 1 live taped storytelling event featuring a slate of performers of all genders with organization and individual interviews to express that Kentucky is far more diverse than even our own neighbors realize. We all have unique and precious gifts, scars and stories. It is through being vulnerable and speaking more openly about them, we will find true connection and empowerment. We will create something new.
